she steps back in the scene.
mother never understood;
how the child's words were so unwanted.

people stare in the buzzing hallway.
step one, step two, step 3...she fades away.

she floats into her reoccuring deja vu--black cats and broken mirrors.

never say never.
but its too late.
too late to be fixed, cured, mended...etc.

the list goes on of her imperfections.

shy
timid
big glasses
nerdy stories
oversized clothing
dangly limbs
clumbsy feet
twisted shoelaces
.........

but the one thing that no one can critize;
her happiness in her own skin.
Satisfied, Sealed, Delievered.
